If sleeping in gives you anxiety, this invention is about to take your FOMO to a whole new level.

An L.A.-based company called Seize the Day Technology designed a clock that counts down your remaining days aboveground, based off the average human lifespan of 28,000 days (that’s 76 years and 260 days, to be exact).

Why own such a morbid bedside accessory? The company says it created the clock to motivate (…or, in our words, scare) people to live each day to the fullest, whether that means spending more time with family and friends, training for a bucket-list marathon, or finally making that risky yet exciting career move.

Of course, 28,000 days is just an average, and the clock has no way of knowing when you’ll actually turn in for good; it merely counts down from your date of birth. But if the concept inspires you, you can preorder the gruesome gadget on Indiegogo for $49, and expect delivery sometime in December. (Just in time for Christmas!)

But remember: You'll have lost at least 180 days by the time you get it…better make each one count!
