Boogie’s All-Star Weekend Primer

For the second consecutive season, DeMarcus Cousins will be representing the Kings at All-Star weekend, this time in Toronto. The festivities begin on Friday, but you can find the complete schedule below:

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 12
8:30 a.m. PST - NBA All-Star Media Day on NBA TV – DeMarcus will field questions from international media alongside Western Conference All-Stars such as Anthony Davis, Kawhi Leonard, Steph Curry and more.

9:30 a.m. PST – JR. NBA Day - Western Conference All-Stars, including No. 15, will host its first-ever Jr. NBA Day, leading basketball clinics for more than 2,500 children.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 13
8 a.m. PST - NBA All-Star Practice on NBA TV – All-Stars from both conference will take the court to prepare for Sunday’s All-Star game.

5 p.m. PST – All-Star Saturday Night on TNT – The Skills Challenge, featuring Boogie, will take place as the first event of the night. The Kings big man will look to be the first center-forward to win the challenge.
Three-Point Contest and Slam Dunk contest will finish out the evening.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 13
5.30 p.m. PST – NBA All-Star Game on TNT – Cousins will take part in his second All-Star Game, looking to give the Western Conference its sixth win in the last six seasons. Last season, Boogie finished with 14 points and seven rebounds on 6-of-7 shooting.
