Macro Players Tudor, Brevan Howard Keep Gaining

The funds are positive this year, following a bang-up 2018.

The long-awaited turnaround in macro hedge funds that took off for several players last year is chugging along.

Funds run by two of the strategy’s biggest stars, Paul Tudor Jones and Alan Howard, posted slight gains in January after double-digit returns in 2018 in a strong comeback after years of poor returns and investor redemptions.

Jones’ Tudor BVI, its master fund, gained 2.61
