In news that will surprise any girl who's ever been on a first date: Getting in your pants is not the main goal of most guys on night one.

No, you're not on Punk'D. According to a survey by the dating site Match.com, only six percent of guys expect some action following your first encounter.

But that doesn't mean dudes aren't interested in a little hint of what's to come. The survey of more than 5,500 singles found that 50 percent of people think a good first date ends in a kiss. How sweet.

Most women aren't down for much more than a peck, though. Only seven percent of women said they want a full-on makeout sesh at the end of their initial encounter. No word on how many ladies want some P in V action after first drinks, either. (Hey, ladies like sex, too!)

We're happy to know that a majority of guys aren't just looking to get laid (or at least, they say they're not). But we still haven't forgotten about the scientific survey that suggested dudes expect some nooky when their Tinder date lies about something on their profile. #NeverForget.
