Yesterday, as part of our Ultimate Dog Search, we showed you some seriously heroic dogs. Today, we present heroes saving dogs. On Tuesday, a 10-year-old Bichon Frise-Shih Tzu mix by the name of Nalu was rescued from a burning building and brought back to the life by a brave Santa Monica, California firefighter. The video of Nalu being revived is as heartwarming as anything you'll watch today.

Oh, god. Sorry, I have so much goddamned dust in my eyes right now. Geez, it is dusty in here. Can we do something about this? These tears streaming down my face are from the dust.

Since the fire, Nalu is reportedly doing okay. She spent a day in an animal hospital and is back living with her loving owner, Crystal Lamirande, who can be seen comforting Nalu in the video as well.

No people were hurt in the fire, which took 23 firefighters to get under control. Thanks to them, no dogs were hurt, either.
