MARKSVILLE, La. - Newly released body camera footage from an officer-involved shooting shows the moments leading up to the death of a 6-year-old boy with autism and a father critically wounded.
According to CNN, a judge released the footage Wednesday, showing the incident from last November.
One of the deputies, Derrick Stafford, is accused of having a pattern of excessive force.
Police said Christopher Few and his son Jeremy Mardis drove off after having an argument with his girlfriend.
Video shows the SUV cornered, though defense attorneys argued Few rammed into their vehicle before they fired 18 shots at the car.
