Vehicle catches fire on Transmountain Road

Fire crews responded to a vehicle fire on Transmountain Road Friday night.

EL PASO, Texas — Fire crews were called to put out a vehicle fire on Transmountain Road Friday night.

The call came in just before 9 p.m., and crews were able to extinguish it within a few minutes.

KFOX14 and CBS4 executive producer Victor Venegas was in the area and shot video of a pickup truck engulfed in flames.

The cause of the fire is not known, but no injuries were reported.
