Forget diamonds, skincare is really a girl’s best friend. Especially if you’re a girl who also happens to be a major celebrity. After all, you’re constantly photographed and filmed—it’s your job to put your best face forward! We investigated the routines of the most beauty-obsessed A-listers to see the products they love and the treatments they swear by, and put together an estimate on how much their go-to skin-care routines actually cost. One thing is clear: Keeping your face and body red carpet-ready comes with a hefty price tag.

Chrissy Teigen

From chowing down on burgers to flashing her stretch marks, Chrissy Teigen may be one of the most relatable models ever. While her food cravings mirror all of ours (I mean who can say no to late-night Waffle House?), her skin-care routine is a different story.

Teigen shared with Refinery29 that she loves SK-II Facial Treatment Masks, ($135 for 10, sk-ii.com) to keep her dry skin fresh and glowing. These masks are supposed to infuse skin with a blend of vitamins, amino acids, and minerals, leaving your face super moisturized and radiant. (Women's Health's Slim, Sexy, Strong Workout DVD is the fast, flexible workout you've been waiting for!)

She is also a fan of the Shani Darden Deesse Premium LED Mask ($1,800, shanidarden.com). It’s a futuristic-looking mask from her facialist, Shani Darden, that delivers low-power light beams that are supposed to reduce fine lines, boost collagen, and kill acne-causing bacteria. Teigen shared a spooky pic of the mask in full effect on her Snapchat.

Besides masks, Teigen’s love affair with La Mer products is well-chronicled—she became the new face of the brand in 2015. The three skin-care items she can’t live without? The brand’s body cream ($195 for 6.7 oz., cremedelamer.com), moisturizing cream ($170 for 1 oz., cremedelamer.com) and renewal oil ($240 for 1 oz., cremedelamer.com). She also told Allure how their concentrate ($360 for 1 oz., cremedelamer.com) worked wonders on her stretch marks: “The La Mer The Concentrate saved my life. I'm constantly 25 minutes late to everything because my lotion regimen is that long. I put it everywhere.”

Total Cost: $2,900

Kim Kardashian West

After returning from her social media detox, Kim Kardashian West is back to posting about skin-care habits that only a true 1 percent-er can appreciate. While it wasn't as extreme as her vampire facial (which could cost between between $1,500 and $2,500, according to US Weekly) she took her complexion to new heights by getting a laser treatment on her trip to Dubai in January.

While we’re not exactly sure what treatment she’s receiving, she’s in the hands of her go-to skin guru, Simon Ourian, M.D., a cosmetic dermatologist in Beverly Hills. She even jokes: “Most people just think I have good genes. So I want to introduce you to my good genes…who I travel with, to Dubai. Dr. Ourian.”

Kardashian West has also attributed some of her other “good genes” to treatments from Ourain. He’s performed:

•A $2,000 neck laser ultrasound: On her app, Kardashian West posted about how she’s “obsessed with my neck getting old” and said how Ourain’s neck lift helps. Ouarian explained to Us Weekly  how the procedure “stimulates the production of new collagen which helps prevent deep and shallow wrinkles from forming from the inside out.” The effects are supposed to last for a year.

•A $1,500 stretch mark treatment: In a past episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the cameras followed her to Ourian’s office for a procedure that helps diminish the appearance of stretch marks. According to Joshua Zeichner M.D., a dermatologist in New York City: “First we can use lasers that help reduce redness. Second we can use resurfacing lasers to improve the quality and texture of stretch marks themselves.” This can range from $500-$1,500, depending on the area that’s being treated.

If you follow her on Snapchat, you also know girl is a serious product junkie. This summer she revealed her morning routine on Instagram, which totaled $1,250. The four La Mer items were The Perfecting Treatment ($240 for 1.7 oz, cremedelamer.com), The Concentrate ($360 for 1 oz, cremedelamer.com), The Renewal Oil ($240 for 1 oz, cremedelamer.com) and Crème de la Mer ($170 for 1 oz, cremedelamer.com).

A few weeks later, she revealed another skin-care routine which rang in at a (slightly) cheaper total of $856. The items included:

1. This Works In Transit No Traces Rosewater Pads ($19, amazon.com)

2. Anastasia Beverly Hills Hydrating Oil ($64, anastasiabeverlyhills.com)

3. Guerlain Orchidée Impériale The Longevity Concentrate ($510, neimanmarcus.com)

4. Lancer Contour Décolleté ($185, lancerskincare.com)

5. Kiehls Super Multi-Corrective Eye Opening Serum ($78 for 1 oz., kiehls.com)

Victoria Beckham

If you compare Victoria Beckham today to her Posh Spice debut in 1994, you know there’s some serious skin-care magic at work since she looks exactly the same as she did 23 years ago. She told Net-A-Porter’s The Edit that dermatologist Harold Lancer, M.D. is to thank for her fierce complexion—along with a daily dose of salmon. She explained: "I used to have really problematic skin and he said to me, 'You have to eat salmon every single day.' I said, 'Really, every day?' And he said, 'Yes; breakfast, lunch or dinner, you have to eat it every single day.’" Salmon is a skin superfood since it's filled with omega-3 fatty acids that help with inflammation.

While we can dream a salmon filet a day will keep the dermatologist away, Beckham also relies on Lancer for regular oxygen facials that can range from $350 to $2,000 a session in office, according to Elle. She also follows “The Lancer Method.” This three-step routine consists of exfoliation, cleansing with a collagen-boosting wash, and moisturizing. The set of products costs $135 and promises a lit-from-within glow.

Other than visits to Lancer, Beckham is said to be a fan of the Geisha Facial at the Shizuka Day Spa in New York City ($180) that involves powdered nightingale droppings. According to the spa, the treatment helps exfoliate and brighten skin due to the natural enzymes in the droppings. When she’s in London, according to GetTheGloss, Beckham regularly visits skin guru Sarah Chapman for facials and uses her Skin Insurance SPF 30 ($141 for 30mL, amazon.com ), Stem Cell Collagen Activator ($490 for set of 4, netaporter.com) and 3D Moisture Infusion ($55, lookfantastic.com).

However, there is one sliver of hope that Posh-level skin is within our reach: Beckham has Instagrammed herself rocking Estee Lauder’s PowerFoil Mask ($25, amazon.com)

Hudson has also revealed to InStyle that the Eve Lom Cleanser  ($54 for 3.3 oz, amazon.com), Tata Harper Repairative Moisturizer ($105, amazon.com) and May Lindstrom products such as The Youth Dew serum ($120 for 20 mL, maylindstrom.com) top her complexion must-haves list.

Khloe Kardashian

Just like her sister, Khloe Kardashian isn’t afraid to put it all out there when it comes to beauty.

In an interview with New Beauty, Kardashian also expressed her affinity for laser treatments. “I love lasers and I do a ton of them on my face; I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. I do them more for discoloration, but they do tighten, too. I’ve also done CoolSculpting and treatments for the stretch marks on my butt.” CoolSculpting starts around $1,000 per area while a Coolaser treatment for her face runs around $4,000. You can see her actually getting laser treatments on her butt in an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians:

When it comes to her nightly routine, she keeps things a bit simpler. She shared with Into The Gloss that she uses two different cleansers: Kiehl's Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser ($21, kiehls.com) for breakouts and a natural cleanser from her derm. Before washing, she takes off her makeup with baby oil ($10, amazon.com) or coconut oil ($13, amazon.com). She then uses La Mer’s Crème de la Mer ($170 for 1 oz, cremedelamer.com) and Bio-Oil Specialist Moisturizer ($17, amazon.com). “Sometimes I combine the two to thin it out, but I tend to like a really heavy cream to sleep in,” she said of her dual moisturizers.

Alicia Keys

For most celebrities, the thought of forgoing makeup on national TV, a magazine cover, or a red carpet would quite possibly be their biggest nightmare ever. But for Alicia Keys, that’s normal life these days. Since last May, the R&B; superstar has embraced the #nomakeup movement, making everyone drool over just how dang pretty her bare face is. While good genes play a part, Keys has clearly nailed her skin-care game.

Dotti, the woman behind Keys’ au naturale mug, shared her complexion-perfecting secrets with W. Keeping the skin cool is one of her main techniques since it brings the blood to the face, resulting in an “I Woke Up Like This” glow. She creates this effect two different ways: First she dips a jade roller ($90, lingskincare.com) in ice until it’s freezing before rolling it over skin to tighten pores. She also grates up a cucumber and places it on top of any areas she wants to brighten up, such as around the eyes.

Oils are another big component of Keys’ routine. Three of her mainstays are the MV Organics 9 Oil Cleansing Tonic ($69 for 2.2 oz., mvskincare.com), Instant Revival Booster ($69 for 1.2 oz., mvskincare.com), and Pure Jojoba Oil ($32 for 1.2 oz., mvskincare.com).  And although she doesn't take selfies when she’s applying face masks, Dotti noted that Keyes regularly uses the SK-II Facial Treatment Mask ($135 for 10, sk-ii.com) and the Eminence Clear Skin Probiotic Masque ($52, amazon.com).

The finishing touch to perk up Keys’ features is Vita Liberata’s Self-Tanning Anti Age Serum ($45, amazon.com). “It’s great when you love your skin but you want to add that hue of life to it. It just makes the skin look more alive—it gives a tan, but in a very natural way. A very golden hue,” explained Dotti to Into The Gloss.

Kylie Jenner

The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner brood and the founder of her own makeup empire, Kylie Jenner may actually be the most practical of her siblings when it comes to skin-care products. She shared her steps with the New York Times—and yes, there is even a drugstore purchase included in the mix. TiZO3’s mineral sunscreen ($30, amazon.com) is one of her staples, along with an all-natural moisturizer called Mimosa Blossom Dream Cream ($18.50, amazon.com) (she’s a fan since it doesn't irritate her sensitive skin). She also relies on Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado ($29 for 0.5 oz, kiehls.com) and Neutrogena’s Makeup Remover Wipes ($5 for 25 wipes, amazon.com). Sephora’s face masks ($6, sephora.com) have made their way into her rotation as well: “I found these masks at Sephora that all my friends are using. I’m obsessed with them. On the shelf there are a million of them—Sephora makes them—so you can try different ones. They’re so much fun.”

And like most teens (it’s easy to forget that Jenner is only 19), she has to deal with annoying breakouts. Recently she Snapchatted the zit-buster she swears by—Mario Badescu Drying Lotion ($17, amazon.com).

Gwyneth Paltrow

What would a round-up of price-y skincare routines be without the reigning queen of splurging, Gwyneth Paltrow? The Goop founder has never been shy about revealing the beauty treatments she swears by (vagina steaming anyone?). However, the $50 price tag of detoxifying your lady parts is reasonable compared to some of her other indulgences. Don't believe us? Here’s a sampling of her skin-care rituals:

•A $50 infrared sauna session: When the average person feels sick they reach for some Emergen-C, but when Paltrow does she opts for a more glamorous remedy: an infrared sauna. “Unlike traditional saunas, these infrared ones use radiation to generate heat and tend to have lower temperatures. There is some thought that infrared heat penetrates deeper into the skin to help soften, relax your muscles, and help increase the production of sweat, which parts of the body of dirt oil and pollution that may have accumulated on the skin’s surface,” says Zeichner.

$500 oxygen facials: Paltrow told Harper’s Bazaar about her regular visits to the Los Angeles-based facialist Sonya Dakar: “I love her Organic Omega Booster serum. I try to go once a week now that I live in L.A. I think facials really help with staying young.”  Her go-to is the oxygen facial, and the Organic Omega Booster is $52 (sonyadakarskinclinic.com) .

•$2,500 Thermage treatments: Always one to try anything in the name of anti-aging, it’s been reported by Charlotte’s Book that Paltrow has experimented with Thermage. What exactly is Thermage? “It’s a device that emits radio frequency energy to improve skin texture and elasticity. It heats up collagen in the skin, loosening up at structure, and allowing it to reform in a tighter more healthy configuration as the skin heals,” says Zeichner. “It can also help stimulate new collagen production.” While it may sound like a good way keep her complexion youthful, even Paltrow admits how painful it can be, warning that it feels “like you’re being smacked with an electric band,” she told Hello! Magazine.

Paltrow also launched a skincare line in 2016 with Juice Beauty and shared her favorite products with the New York Times. Everyday she uses the revitalizing day moisturizer ($100, shop.goop.com), enriching face oil ($110, shop.goop.com), perfecting eye cream ($90, shop.goop.com), and replenishing night cream ($140, shop.goop.gom). She also loves the instant facial ($125, shop.goop.com) for a tingly skin pick-me-up. She also talked about some non-Goop indulgences that include Drunk Elephant’s Umbra Sheer Defense SPF 30 ($38, drunkelephant.com), Tammy Fender’s Bulgarian Lavender Body Oil ($65, amazon.com), The Organic Pharmacy’s Rose and Jasmine Body Oil ($66, barneys.com) and Ursa Major’s Face Wipes ($24 for 20 wipes, amazon.com).
