If you’re looking for a quick and delicious way to eat for fat loss, try this new fat-burning smoothie I call “Death by Chocolate.” I created it for my new Men’s Health book, The Metashred Diet.

It’s part of the “fat-loss acceleration” phase of the 28-day MetaShred Diet. The smoothie is loaded with protein, healthy fat, and fiber, the combination of which helps fill you up and keep you satisfied. And it’s low in fast-absorbing carbs, so you don’t get a huge sugar rush that slows fat burning.

Most importantly, it’s delicious. You can eat it anytime throughout your day as a meal replacement. Because you can take it in the car or on the train, it’s an easy way to get in a great breakfast, lunch, or even dinner when you’re in a rush.

Death by Chocolate Smoothie Recipe

Blend the following ingredients until smooth:

1 ¼ scoops chocolate protein powder. (Any protein whey or casein protein powder that has less than 3 grams of fat and less than 3 grams of carbs will work.)

3 tablespoons walnuts

1/4 cup almonds

2 tablespoons cocoa powder, unsweetened

2 tablespoons cacao nibs

2 cups water

4 ice cubes
