With all 700 plus Toys 'R' Us and Babies 'R' Us locations closing down for good, expecting moms who signed up for the retailer's baby registries are scrambling to figure out how to get their diapers, bottles, and other baby products before the stores completely shut down.

According to People, a company spokesperson said all customer and loyalty programs like Rewards “R” Us, Geoffrey’s Birthday List and the Babies “R” Us Registry are up and running as normal, but will expire within the next couple of weeks. The representative did not give a specific date.

On Twitter, the Toys 'R' Us account issued a similar statement in the tweet below.

The company spokesperson also told People that customers must take it upon themselves to transfer their registries to a different store before they shut down. Meanwhile, parents on social media have shared how they are doing just that by taking their registries over to competing stores like Target, Buy Buy Baby, and others amid the store closures announcement.

CNNMoney reported that Toy 'R' Us filed court documents Thursday that said it would shut down or sell off all of its stores, laying off around 31,000 employees. The toy store chain had been in business for 70 years, but after after accruing a $5 billion debt, was forced to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in September .

USA Today reports that customers have 30 days to redeem their gift cards.
