The year 2016 cruelly took away many of our favorite heroes, but in exchange, it did give us several new sports stars to love—chief among them Aly Raisman, Simone Biles, and the rest of the U.S. “Final Five” women’s gymnastics team. For two weeks last August, we couldn’t look away from our TVs as this squad of fit, fierce women completely dominated their competition in the Rio Summer Games, capturing a record nine medals for America. And now we can’t look away from Raisman and Biles for a different reason: They both look stunning while posing in bikinis for Sports Illustrated’s upcoming Swimsuit Issue.
Sports Illustrated released early photos of the two Olympic gymnasts, who were photographed by James Macari. In the photos, Raisman and Biles shed their iconic leotards and trade them in for something a little more revealing.

“Aly and Simone represent all that is beautiful and strong and inspiring in women today,” said MJ Day, Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit editor, in a statement. “Women that are not only elite athletes, that are captivating and impressive in their own professional accomplishments (lots and lots of Olympic gold medals between them), but strikingly sexy and beautiful in front of photographer James Macari’s lens.”
