Ever since Prince Louis was born on April 23, we've rarely seen Kate Middleton out and about with the rest of the royal family. But at Louis's christening today, the Duchess gave us a very subtle glimpse into what parenting the young prince has been like during these past few months. What's more, she even cracked a little parenting humor while doing so.

Prior to entering Chapel Royal at St. James's Palace for the ceremony, the Duke of Cambridge held Princess Charlotte and Prince George's hands, while the Duchess trailed behind cradling a precious sleeping Prince Louis in her arms.

At the door, they were greeted by the Archbishop of Canterbury who, according to The Mirror, told Kate that little Louis looked "very relaxed and peaceful." Keeping it real, the Duchess allegedly smiled and shot back, "Let's hope he stays like this."

In fact, Prince William was so impressed by their good demeanor, the Duke told his two older kids "well done!" after they politely shook everyone's hands before the christening (which you can see below at the 0:45 video mark).

After Will and Kate's last few months with their new son, we hope they got to have some fun today at the tea party reception following the formal ceremony. At the very least, Meghan and Harry should snag the parents-of-three an extra piece of cake or two. They definitely deserve it!
