After their war of the words seemed to simmer, though, we all just assumed that it was water under the bridge for these long-time friends. Their movie broke box office records, and they'd publicly expressed their respect and admiration for one another. And, after all, they have more important things to worry about and focus on then having a shouting match in the press, right?
This may not be the case. According to UFC champ Tyron Woodley, Diesel is adamant that he could beat The Rock in a fight. Check out his conversation about it with TMZ Sports.
From the jump, Woodley knows that he's about to start a beef. As he explains, he was at a party the other day to celebrate the premiere of Diesel's latest film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
"Vin Diesel yelled at me at the party yesterday," Woodley says, "because I said a fight versus him and The Rock, I gave it to The Rock."
Diesel, apparently, was not happy about the snub.
"He said he'll flex on The Rock," Woodley claimed.
Now, whether this means the two will actually fight, who can say? Our bet is that an actual brawl between the two is highly unlikely. But it sure does open up some fun bar arguments between their respective fan bases. Does anyone else wish we could get an episode of Celebrity Deathmatch right about now?
