Too busy to process etran numbers they have

I applied a few weeks ago. I understand they are probably swamped with applications and waited patiently. Couple of weeks after summiting the application I received an email from James stating our etran number was received and funds have been secured. At this time they would be drafting the loan docs which could take a few days. Then 5 days before our etran number was expiring I received a generic email stating our chances might be better if we applied with other companies since they have such heavy volume they might not be able to fund us prior to funds being exhausted. They wasted our time and possibly could make us lose out on our funds if they are used up prior to a new company re-applying for us. I am sure legal action could be taken but who wants to do business like that. Buyer beware if you haven’t submitted with them as of yet I would stay away. They are advertising for more new applications all the while they can’t handle the ones they already accepted. Can anyone said “unfair and deceptive trade practices”. Horrible to take advantage of businesses in need just so they don’t miss out on an extra dollar. Be honest if you can’t process the application prior to advertising for more.

Review of RoadLoans

Very impressed and enjoying our new car!

In today’s world of big business it is hard to be noticed as a customer. Much to my surprise Roadloans actually takes the time to listen to its customers.

I started out on my phone looking for auto lenders that would work with people with poor credit. I had a business a few years back that caused me to ruin my credit. I am rebuilding it now and not too many banks would even look my way. I was extremely greatful when I applied to Roadloans and received a preapproved loan offer which included a check and package to present to a franchised dealership of my choice. The process took all of five minutes and I received an emailed package with my check and dealer instructions. So easy. I was very excited and with a low down payment of only $500.00. This was great. The loan allowed 120% of the car to be financed which allows the sales tax and registration fees to be financed so you truly only had to pay the $500.00 down payment to drive away. Which is unbelievable for anyone with challenged credit. Trying to be realistic about my self inflicted credit score I thought my rate wasn’t crazy either.

With that said I ran into a little snag. I found a car I liked and went to the dealership to complete the purchase. The car was getting transferred from another location and during the process the car was sold to another person. (No fault to Roadloans, it was the dealership I chose). My offer expired during that time frame, causing me to reapply with Roadloans. I was denied the second time I applied. I had received notice that I had too many inquiries on my credit. When I went to the dealership and presented the package they asked for all my information and ran it through their system to six different banks to see if they could get a better offer. I actually asked them not to run my credit since I was happy with the loan offer I received. I had actually went to the dealership a second time when the car was supposed to be delivered and a different salesman ran my credit again with the exact same six banks. So in the course of 10 days I got 12 new hard inquiries to my credit. I wasn’t very happy about that and thought that was a factor for my second denial from Roadloans since I actually paid down some debt and raised my credit score by 40 points in the meantime.

Well I was upset and wrote a complaint here on Roadloans reviews explaining that it was crazy to be denied when things only got better. Roadloans much to my surprise reached out to me and reviewed my information and again issued an offer package. This time my wife and I went to a different dealership and chose a great car and drove out an hour later with a beautiful new car. I am so excited to make my first payment and prove my creditworthiness. I am so greatful to Roadloans.

Today it is hard to believe a company as big as Roadloans Cares about one client with poor credit to take the time to listen and act.

Hats off to a big company acting like a small hometown personal company.

Thank you Roadloans and Santander I am extremely grateful!
