Rondo's Night 24 Years In The Making

Although the Kings lost on Friday night to the Minnesota Timberwolves at Sleep Train Arena. Rajon Rondo accomplished a feat no Sacramento player had reached since March of 1991.

Dishing out 16 assists and committing zero turnovers on Friday night marks the first time a Kings player has achieved those stats since former Kings guard and current UC Davis head coach Jim Les recorded 17 assists and zero turnovers on March 2, 1991.

If you're keeping track at home, Rondo now holds the Sacramento-era record for most assists in a game (20), is one away from tying the mark for most triple-doubles in a season (4), tallied the most assists without a turnover since '91, and is on pace to break the Sacramento-era record for most assists in a single season (788).

It should be fun to find out which record falls the next time No. 9 steps onto the court.
