Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka
Getty Images; Jeff Vespa Just shy of celebrating their three-year wedding anniversary, these two perfect-looking beaus have been our favorite couple since they started dating almost 10 years ago. While Neil Patrick Harris is known for playing a straight, lady-obsessed player on How I Met Your Mother, his real persona couldn’t be any different—especially when it comes to his infatuation with hubby David Burtka. “I initially fell for David harder than he fell for me,” he told Out magazine. “I was in love with him before he was comfortable saying it.” A year later, NPH proposed and now they're the proud parents to 5-year-old twins, Harper Grace and Gideon Scott, who were born via a surrogate.
Elton John and David Furnish
Getty Images; David M. Benett In 2014, nearly nine years after they entered a civil partnership in the U.K., Sir Elton John and Canadian-born filmmaker David Furnish tied the knot. Today, the couple has two sons, Zachary and Elijah. In a recent interview on Ellen, the “Your Song” singer gushed over the status of his life. “If you’d had said to me 10 years ago I’d be sitting on your show married to the man I love and have two beautiful children I would have said, ‘You put acid in my drink.’ But life throws you challenges and life throws you curveballs—great curveballs—and these two children have come along at a time I never thought I’d have children.”

Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent
Getty Images; David Livingston After the death of his former partner Fernando Bengoechea, who passed away in the 2004 tsunami in Sri Lanka, Nate questioned whether he’d be able to find love and open up again. That is, until he met Jeremiah, who played a key role in his ability to move forward in life. “I didn’t know how to articulate how to keep that and honor that [love] but still move forward without any guilt or fear around that,” he told Oprah Winfrey on Oprah: Where Are They Now?. “[Brent] was the first person to come into my life and not be threatened or afraid to poke the damage and say, ‘That happened. Let’s talk about it. Let’s figure it out and how it can be part of our world in a way that’s healthy.’” Swoon.

Matt Bomer and Simon Halls
Getty Images; Matt Winkelmeyer White Collar star Matt Bomer might have all of us drooling over his not-too-shabby abs, but he only has eyes for his publicist/partner Simon Halls. The pair have been married since 2011 and have three sons born via surrogate, including a set of twins. While the actor’s not big on speaking about his personal life in interviews, we were all hit with serious relationship envy when he posted this tweet in honor of his hubby on Valentine’s Day: "'Love is something if you give it away—you end up having more.’ Wishing u all love in its many forms this and every day. #HappyValentinesDay.”
Jessie Tyler Ferguson and Justin Mikita
Getty Images; Rommel Demano The Modern Family actor, who plays a gay man in a ridiculously adorable relationship, is in an equally lovable relationship in real life. He and his attorney hubby wed in a lavish ceremony in New York City in 2013 and weren’t shy about spreading the news. Just after the wedding, the actor tweeted that he’d “Never been happier,” while Justin tweeted “We’ve worked hard to call each other husband, so let’s start using it!”
Mario Cantone and Jerry Dixon
Getty Images; Paul Zimmerman Like many gay couples across the U.S., Mario Cantone and Jerry Dixon, partners of 20 years, had to wait a long time for the government to recognize their partnership. The View guest host gushed about his long-awaited nuptials on the show, saying “I got married for the same reasons you did. We’re older now. We’ve been together 20 years. After 20 years, you’re like, ‘Thanks for the anti-climactic honeymoon, government!’”

George Takei and Brad Altman
Getty Images; Anna Webber Like Mario and Jerry, these two also stayed committed to each other for nearly two decades. After maintaining a secret relationship for 17 years, George and Brad came out to the public about their long-term relationship in 2005 and tied the knot in 2008. “I’ve always been behind the scenes with the business side of his career, helping with bookkeeping and reviewing contracts, we’ve always shared where George wanted to go with his life and career, we’ve always been in total sync,” Brad told The Wrap in 2014. “So during those years, because of professional reasons, George wasn’t an openly gay person, I subscribed to that 100 percent.” That's true love.
Lance Bass and Michael Turchin
Getty Images; David Livingston One thing most of us NSYNC fan girls didn’t know at the time was that sexy Lance wasn’t boyfriend material for any of us. The hunk revealed in 2006 that he was into men and has had a few swoon-worthy suitors since. But none have come close to the relationship Lance has had with Michael Turchin. The two were friends until their feelings grew into something much more, Michael told People. "I am so shy and never would have made the first move," says Michael. "I was thinking, 'This is Lance Bass. I grew up watching him on TV and listening to his music.' That just added a whole other layer of intimidation." The two tied the knot in 2014 and have been making #relationshipgoals history ever since.
Jim Parsons and Todd Spiewak
Dimitrios Kambouris / Getty Images Jim Parsons (or as you may know him, Sheldon Cooper on The Big Bang Theory) has been with his partner, graphic designer Todd Spiewak, for over 14 years. However, the actor came out relatively recently in a 2012 New York Times profile. In his 2013 Emmys acceptance speech, Jim called Todd, "my favorite person on Earth." The couple has kept a relatively low profile, but their sweet snaps of each other on Instagram show just how adorable they are together. Jim and Todd got married in May 2017 in New York. Congrats!
