The Virtual 10K Run For the Planet challenges participants to run 6.2 miles over the course of five days, August 3-7. And you can run those miles however you want, wherever you want—whether all at once or a mile or two at a time. In fact, you don't even have to run to participate. The race welcomes "bikers, hikers, paddlers, and everyone in between," making it super easy for you to get some exercise at your leisure while doing a great thing.

Your motivation: The run is sponsored by the Whole Planet Foundation, a charity established by the Whole Foods Market, and 100 percent of the registration fees will go to support small business owners and entrepreneurs (many of whom are women) in 69 countries.
