We've partnered with Kimberly-Clark since 2017, working together to bring clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene to schools and communities in South Africa, Bangladesh, Nigeria and Uganda.
Our partnership: Toilets Change Lives
Ending extreme poverty and creating a healthier, more prosperous future can't be achieved without clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene.
That's why we work with Kimberly-Clark and the Kimberly-Clark Foundation, as part of their Toilets Change Lives initiative, to provide new and improved toilets in schools and public places in South Africa, Bangladesh, Uganda and Nigeria.
Alongside improving facilities, we work closely with communities to raise awareness of good hygiene practices – supporting thousands of people to realise these basic human rights, and helping to create change that lasts.
WaterAid and Baby Soft in South Africa
In 2018, we started working with Kimberly-Clark’s brand Baby Soft in South Africa, helping to provide clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene in schools and communities in Limpopo district.
As part of the Together campaign in 2023, donations from every pack of Baby Soft fresh white toilet tissue will go towards WaterAid’s work in South Africa.
